Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off. We are proud to be the best school in Isiolo county! Keep shining bright!” the school management posted on its official Facebook page. TUKO.co.ke has since established that the marks were almost similar in mathematics. How netizens reacted to Brainstar Schools-Isiolo KCPE results But a section of netizens who spotted the post poked holes into the results. While some netizens joined the school management in congratulating the candidates, others questioned the possibility of all the candidates recording the same score in a single subject. TUKO.co.ke sampled some of the reactions below: Gerald Gitahi said: “Sad seeing people here shouting congratulations while seeing the discrepancies recorded. How all students scored almost identical marks in mathematics and science is a clear indication of fake results.”  Kila mtu alipata 75% in science?” Kenneth Gichuki opined: “Wow, their brains were synchronised the same way in maths to get 75%.” Nyarari Ya Rware commented: “Seriously, who can’t see you have cooked your report?? In which world do all students score the same marks in one subject? 75 in science? seriously? Hata kama ni kuadvertise shule hii nayo hapana.” Ali Hussein said: “All students got 75% in science, which must be recorded in a Guinness world record.” Salad Godana weighed in: “Congratulations to all the 2023 candidates, the management, teachers, and parents for well-deserved exemplary performance.” Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that several candidates who sat for this year’s KCPE examinations petitioned the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) to review their results. Why some 2023 KCPE candidates are worried Citizen TV reported that some students shared similar discrepancies. For instance, they were awarded grades for subjects they did not sit for during the tests. But in a quick rejoinder, KNEC acknowledged receiving complaints from candidates from various schools. According to KNEC CEO David Njegere, candidates have a 30-day window to query the system and address any issues with the examination body through the sub-county director of education. Njegere, however, attributed the issue to the SMS provider.
