Rent row: Woman vs apartment manager The woman, who was with her son, was asked to pay her rent arrears, but she refused and instead hurled insults and threats at the man. She also claimed to have a gun and warned the man that she would shoot him if he did not leave her alone. “Do you know who I am?.. I will shoot you,” the woman said angrily. In the first video, the woman was seen in her car as a police officer checked her documents. She ranted at two unseen people and told them to mind their own business. In the second video, she was at her door and approached the property manager. She spat in his mouth and called him names. She also told him to repair the cameras of the apartment if he needed them to pay rent. Gaitho, who posted the videos, described the woman’s behaviour as toxic feminism and urged people to watch out for her if she came to their apartments. He said that the woman had caused drama in the entire apartment and disturbed the peace of other residents. “Toxic feminism: Kindly watch out for the lady below. She turned hostile when asked to pay. She caused drama in the entire apartment hurling insults, and spitting in the mouth of the apartment manager. She threatened the host and apartment manager that she has a gun and would shoot everyone. Kindly watch out for her if she comes to your apartment. This happened at Legacy Apartments along Naivasha Road,” Gaitho wrote. Netizens condemn woman for disrespecting man The videos sparked outrage and condemnation from many Kenyans, who criticised the woman for her lack of respect and decency. Here are some of the reactions from netizens: @Mssophia_: “Who behaves like that in front of their kids?” @bildadwafula: “Nothing will happen to her Francis. She is a woman. She has the right to do that.” Kabogo_Henry: “Unfortunate. It looks like having a gun gives you some foolish courage. Guns kill.” @WoodyMokuaN: “But why? The drama is not necessary, if you cannot manage to pay your rent, you can still get to a place where one can manage to pay rent.” @_musau_eric: “She’s talking so rudely, seems she knows people who know people, Kenyan karens hukuwa visirani sana.”
