The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has warned of power outages in several areas of the country on Tuesday, March 12.
In a statement on Monday evening, the company announced that some areas in five counties in Kenya will experience power interruptions between 3:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
The affected counties include Nairobi, Kiambu, Uasin Gishu, Homa Bay, and Kwale.
In Nairobi County, certain parts of the Karen area will experience power outages between 3:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Several areas in Tigoni and Kabuku in Kiambu County will be affected by power interruptions between 3:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Some parts of Ngecheck and Ngeria in Uasin Gishu County will also experience power outages between 3:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
At the same time, several areas in Rapora, Mirunda, and Lwanda in Homa Bay County will be without power.
In Kwale County, some parts of the Galu area will be affected by power outages between 3:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
