Several people are feared dead following a terrible accident that happened along the busy Webuye- Eldoret Road. The accident occurred at Kaburengu junction near Webuye. West TV reported that the deadly accident involved a school bus and a truck that was transporting molasses. The truck driver died on the spot, and seven other people sustained serious injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment.
Preliminary reports indicate the school bus was ferrying two teachers and three students when the accident occurred. The cause of the accident has not been established, but the photos from the scene show how terrible the accident was, as some of the vehicles involved were completely destroyed.
