Kenyan Man Laments after Eatery Is Vandalised, Electronics Stolen: “Yuaiba Mpaka Na Kanzu!”

A Kenyan man took to social media to air his frustration after a thief broke into his business premises and made away with his equipment. How the robbery happened In a TikTok video, the man whose TikTok handle is @medolizer showed his eatery, which had been broken into and vandalised. Locks and doors were damaged, and the interior was in disarray.   The thief had targeted expensive electronics, leaving the business owner reeling from the loss. “Msela akaingia ndani akachukua chips fryer, jamaa amechuka freezer moja, jamaa amechukua blender… amechukua hii machine ya kutengeza sugarcane juice…amechkua mpaka grill ya kuchomea kuku,” Medolizer said painfully. The scene depicted in the clip was chaotic, with scattered food on the floor. The remaining freezer had also been emptied/ “Huu ni uhasidi kiasi gani?” the man asked in frustration. Medolizer further disclosed that CCTV footage had shown one man in a Kanzu breaking into the premises. “Mwezi mtakatifu jamani hatuogopi?” he asked, wondering how one could steal during the holy month of Ramadhan. Despite the setback, he vowed not to rest until the thugs were brought to book. “Tena tumeona kwa cctv msela mmoja amevaa kanzu…yaani mtu yuaiba mpaka na kanzu!….lakini hatupumziki wala hatu lali mpaka tuwashike hawa jamaa,” Medolizer remarked. Netizens react to the theft The video garnered reactions from netizens, with many sympathising with Medolizer’s loss.
