Irene said she talked with her former bosses before she charted her new journey. She downplayed speculation about Diana unfollowing her on Instagram, saying she didn’t notice it and the rapper must have made a mistake. Why does Irene Nekesa refuse to work for Bahati?
In a Tuesday, February 18 interview with SPM Buzz, the housekeeper-turned-online influencer said that part of her life was done and dusted. “If you got a phone call from Diana or Bahati saying they would double your salary, would you return to work for them?” Nekesa was asked. She responded by saying: “I can never do that. I have moved on with my life.” Irene said that before, people would always reference her employers when speaking about her, but she’s now independent and a brand in her own right. “Now I am Irene Nekesa, the best chef.” However, Nekesa noted that she is open to meeting with the couple for other activities. “If they want to talk or play games I am ready.” Nekesa also said that she is done with being a nanny. “That is difficult. But someone might approach me to teach their nannies to cook or do other roles- that is what I’m doing. However, I cannot go live with an employer,” she asserted.

Here are some of the comments: salmaabdallah302: “This is what is called upgrading yourself. You cannot be working as a nanny year in and year out.” lisney_oduor: “She has nothing else to talk about. Every time Diana.” marion_katee: “Something happened in that house and Diana had to let go of those nannies. Diana never speaks of them and I’m sure she’d have thrown a farewell party.” sakina_ma_jey: “I am beginning to dislike her. Move on in silence please Diana changed your life.” ca.te8831: “Can Diana please employ me?” Fauziamwaura: “Don’t turn back, I also don’t like going back to where I came from.” iam_mumbe: “She needs to look for new content and move on.” Irene Nekesa’s financial struggles Soon after leaving Diana’s home, Nekesa said she was struggling financially and asked for assistance.
Nekesa said she lived in deplorable conditions and could not afford rent. However, her plea for help did not get the expected response, as many wondered what she did with the money Diana paid her, as she previously claimed that her monthly salary was KSh 100,000.
