Addressing fans on her Instagram stories, Vera clarified that their relationship is purely about co-parenting their two children. In her post, she recounted a recent interaction with a fan who suspected the former couple might still be together after spotting them enjoying time with their kids. “Met a lady and she said, kumbe y’all are playing games with us and are still together? I was like nah, nope, just co-parenting,” Vera wrote.
The curvaceous model, who also doubles up as a businesswoman, explained her dedication to ensuring her kids have a strong relationship with their father despite their differences. She disclosed that Mauzo spends quality time with their children weekly. Additionally, she revealed that he is actively involved in their lives as she constantly invites him to family occasions and play dates. “I always ensure that my kids have a healthy relationship with their father. I invite him for games with them, occasions, and insist that they get to see him at least once every week,” Vera added. Vera attributed her approach to the example set by her parents, who are still happily married to this day. “I come from a family setup; my parents are still happily married. I grew up seeing my mum and dad, and I would never deny my kids that. No matter how ugly my divorce was, my kids come first.”
She firmly dismissed online speculation that she and Brown are secretly rekindling their relationship after their divorce saying: “Online (people) keep saying we’re still messing. Never have, never will.” Additionally, Vera shared snaps of a recent play date where she, Brown, and their kids were spending some quality time together. The children appeared cheerful as their father bonded with them. See the post below: TUKO.co.ke compiled some comments from netizens regarding Vera’s clarification.
