“Reggae, Hip hop those are music genres and they even use that to worship God. They are happy and they are going to heaven. We put restrictions where they are not supposed to be. We make Christianity so legalistic.”
He went on to speak about Christians having tattoos while also clarifying that he wasn’t advising people to go get tattoos.
“Tattoos will not take you to hell, I am not suggesting that from tomorrow you go get one. It does not add to your Christianity nor does it make you any less spiritual. In some cultures tattoos are the order of the day. It’s a non-issue where Christianity is concerned.”
“You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord.”
