Kenyan Chef Maliha Disqualified from Guinness World Record Challenge after Mistake During Rest Break

Chef Maliha Mohammed from Kenya is devastated as she is not the Guinness World Record holder for the person who can cook for the longest hours. Kenyan Chef Maliha, who was disqualified from the Guinness World Record challenge after a mistake. Maliha starts cook-a-thon trial In June 2023, Chef Maliha took on the challenge of Cook-a-thon trial as she eyed Hilda Baci’s Record.  In November 2023, she fully took on the challenge and finally clocked 150 hours of non-stop cooking to the delight of Kenyans from all walks of life. The chef had earlier upset Nigeria’s Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record of cooking for 100 straight hours. Chief Maliha aplogises to Kenyans Celebrities and Maliha fans kept her company and cheered her on as she made history but it turned out that she had been disqualified and will not bringing the award home. “Hey guys, Assalamun aleykum, it is with much sadness that I inform my family, friends, fans , sponsors , followers, and everyone who showed love and support towards my journey in November cooking marathon. Upon my manager’s advice, I have to let you know I was disqualified for one error made during my rest break,” said Maliha. “I am not okay right now; I ask for your forgiveness to have let you all down. It wasn’t easy, but I know God has other plans for me in shaa Allah because what’s meant for you will simply find you. To those who were waiting for this record, I am truly sorry,” she added.
