Seasoned media personality and brand influencer Anita Nderu Raftery is a jolly mom following spending the holidays with her family in the countryside and seeing her parents create new memories with their granddaughter, Kaya. Anita shared a video of little Kaya experiencing village life for the first time as a conscious toddler and it was beyond the cutest thing ever. In the video, the 2-year-old could be seen walking hand in hand with her dad before she decided to start running around interacting with the animals, widely puzzled as to why they had insanely different personalities from the ones she sees on their television. “Hey blah blah black sheep… take me to see the chickens… hey chickens. Chickens! Hey, say quack quack, ” Kaya could be heard saying excitedly as she tried prompting the animals to make the sounds, she heard them make on kids’ shows. She moved from the chicken coup and went to try and communicate with the sheep begging them to sing for her. Captioning the post the former radio host wrote, “Bah bah black sheep in real life not singing, was a funny lesson for Kaya yesterday,” accompanying the post with several laughing emojis.
Anita went on to highlight how hilarious it was seeing her city born and bred toddler experience farm life for the first time ever. According to the media personality, her daughter Kaya expected things to be exactly as she sees them on television.
She went on to pen, “Living in an apartment seeing sheep and chicken sing on TV gave her the wrong idea
It was so wonderful seeing her run around the farm feeding cats and singing for sheep when they would not sing for her,”

Comparing her childhood back in the 90’s and the kid of life experiences her daughter has now, Anita marveled at how different things are noting growing up in the village was one of her happiest memories.
She went on to list some of the things she has noticed her toddler totally loves about being at her grandparents’ place highlighting as a mom it also brings her immense joy.
“I grew up on a farm and it’s one of my fondest memories! Every time we visit my parents it’s the happiest, I see Ky, she loves the outdoors, playing with her older cousins (who also babysit without you asking), hanging with the animals, she eats A LOT there too, my parents are farm to fork people,” the digital content creator penned.

Wrapping up the former TV show host highlighted the importance of having a place to call home and how lucky she is that she gets to experience that and give her daughter the same.
“When I was younger, I did not understand the importance of a place you can go back to anytime and it’s home, I get it now.
Kaya loves her Shagz and we do too, it was such a beautiful time,” part of her post read. Adding that it was beautiful seeing her parents soften up now that they are older.
The rest of her post read, “P.S. I am seeing a side of my parents I did not know existed as they grandparent, it is sooooo beautiful to watch My mum even made a matching outfit for her and Ky to wear yesterday, she has never done that with me (I am not jealous at all. They looked adorable,” accompanied with a love heart emoji.
