The three-time Olympic champion, who was recently conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by the University of Eldoret, was seen in a rural kitchen vigorously cooking ugali for the family.
Just like many other rural kitchens, hers had a hearth with three stones, and wood was used to cook. In the video shared on her TikTok page, Kipyegon is seen cooking away, not bothered by the smoke coming from the hearth. How did Kipyegon enjoy her holiday? Before Christmas Day, Faith Kipyegon went on a safari with her family, following a sensational year in which she won an Olympic gold medal.
The Kenyan star broke the world and Olympic record in the women’s 1500m before winning another Diamond League title. The 30-year-old will be preparing for another massive 2025, aiming to cement her legacy as one of Kenya’s greatest athletes.
