Tanzania: Worshippers are stunned after musician Upendo Nkone refused to help Christina Shusho castigate those who have been calling out Martha Mwaipaja for allegedly neglecting her family. How did Shusho support Mwiapaja? The two were at a live concert when an angry Shushoi said people like talking bad things about musicians but never help to push their concerts. Gospel singer Martha Mwaipaja was accused by her sister, Beatrice, of neglecting their family despite her success.
Beatrice claimed Martha drives expensive cars and helps strangers while their mother suffers. The emotional allegations sparked online debate over Martha’s personal and public life. “We are standing here on behalf of our fellow solider in the army of the Lord who is going through a hard time. Hard times come to test our faith,” said Shusho.
“We will not let soldiers in our army get bashed as we look on; we will fight and stand with them,” said Shusho. How did Nkone snub Shusho? Once angry Shusho was done with her rant, Nkone started singing the latter’s song, which shocked Shusho as she expected the older musician also to blast netizens attacking Mwaipaja. “You are not going to say something?” asked Shusho but Nkone ignored her and continued singing, which prompted the former to start singing as well.
Netizens who saw the video sided with Nkone, saying that it wasn’t the right time or place to bring up the subject. Others opined that not everything needed an opinion. “Daah! Her friend knows how to sing the gospel not fighting with people.Shusho must be very embarrassed,” said Timothy Malyii of Clouds FM Tanzania. Netizens react to the video: Getrude_nurse “😂😂😂😂😂😂upendo Nkone katuwakilisha vyema we listen but we don’t want to talk about 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.”
