Laventa Amutavi, the wife of Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala, has a winning mentality. Ferdinand Omanyala’s wife Laventa Amutavi false-starts in national semi-finals. The beauty is an athlete like her lightning-fast husband, and she has not shied away from showcasing her talent in local athletic competitions. Why was Laventa Amutavi disqualified in semi-finals? She had hopes of emerging as the National champion, but things went against her wish.  She false-started her semi-finals, and this knocked her out of the competition. “I was so excited to run Nationals, but my journey to being the National champ ended drastically when I false-started my semi-finals. We make mistakes, we learn, and we keep our heads high,” Laventa wrote on Instagram and accompanied by a video. In another post, she wrote: “Sadly, my National Championship has come to an end. A false start saw me exit the competition at the semifinal stage. He surprised her by getting musicians to serenade her during practice. The famous Vijana Barubaru showed up at the race track and serenaded her.  Laventa couldn’t help but be shy about the moment, and she hugged and kissed her husband, who was all smiles. The athlete also got his wife a cake and a Samsung Z Flip 4 phone.
