The record 14-time winners of the UEFA Champions League competition, Real Madrid, will begin tonight’s game as the favourites against the German side, Borussia Dortmund who finished fifth in the Bundesliga this season.

Unlike Dortmund, who have struggled domestically but excelled in Europe, the opposite has been true for the Spanish champions in the later stages of the tournament.

To light up the football night, Heineken will host an event at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi, bringing together football fans to watch and celebrate the UEFA Champions League final. The match-viewing event will be followed by a fun-filled party which will feature Grammy award-winning songwriter and musician Bien – once a member of the globally acclaimed Kenyan band Sauti Sol.Heineken Commercial Director Jonas Geeraerts says: “This time we wanted to give football fans a unique experience by having one of the most popular Kenyan performing artists grace the event. Heineken is redefining what being a football fan means by creating a more positive and welcoming space to enjoy the game together and have fun.”
