Police take away bodies of the diseased after a fatal accident

Two people have been confirmed dead following an accident along the Bomet-Kaplong highway. Bomet County police commandant Robinson Ndiwa said the accident involved two cars that collided.  The afternoon accident on Monday, June 10, involved two cars colliding on a busy road in the Mikingo area. Confirming the incident, Bomet County police commandant Robinson Ndiwa said the cars were headed in a different direction.  According to Citizen Digital, one of the cars veered off its lane as its driver tried to avoid hitting a stationary car parked at the edge of the road. Most of those injured were rushed to Kaplong Mission Hospital as the militias fought for their side. The cars caused a massive snarl for almost two hours as the police sought to ensure normalcy was restored. Bodies of the deceased were taken to the Kapkatet hospital mortuary.
