Safaricom has announced an outage affecting a section of Home Fibre customers.
“We are currently experiencing a service outage affecting a section of Home Fibre customers. Our engineers are working to restore services as soon as possible and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused,” Safaricom tweeted.
The telco also sent out the same text message to its Home Fibre users.
Some of the home fibre users complained to have been experiencing downtime since Tuesday evening.
With the recent cases of coronavirus in Kenya, many Kenyans have been forced to work from home hence the importance of the home fibre internet.
The company last month doubled its internet speeds for all its respective Home Fibre packages to help Kenyans as they worked from home.
