Jegede was once a victim of trolls after publicly declaring his love for socialite, Vera Sidika.
Speaking to Kiss 100, he gave us an update on the progress on how far that has gone. Sadly now that coronavirus is here, there is really nothing much he can do.
About Vera, I am still thinking. You know I can’t talk about it. When I am ready I will talk about it.
From that statement, seems like Jegedee is still getting ‘Ls’. Last we checked, Vera publicly denied him.
Just like any other celebrity, Covid-19 has affected Jegede and his message to the government to help flatten the curve is for a 21-day total lockdown.
“We need to go for a lockdown. The more we say we are looking for a contact person we are interfering with the economy even worse. The government needs to shut down everything for at least 21 days and then we have another 2 weeks of curfew for it to be a month so. Yes, we will suffer but after that, all will be well. We all want our normal life back.” He told Kiss
To his fans he had one message, and that was to take this virus seriously and follow the guidelines issued by the government.
‘I have a boyfriend’ Vera Sidika rejects Jegede on live TV
To my fans. Most people are not taking this seriously. I watch the news and see what is happening in the US, in Italy and I kind of know the threat coronavirus is. Here in Kenya people do not care. Even when I step out to buy something in the shop, people are not keeping the 1-meter rule or even wearing masks but when I meet my friends I normally tell them to wear masks and scare them a bit to prove to them how serious this virus is. So to the fan, let us be serious and cautious because if this thing gets worse, it will finish us and we do not want that.
Jegede mentioned that the pandemic has messed up with his studio session because he majorly works at night and with the curfew, he has to adjust to a different program.
His last project was when he came together with Daddy Andrew from Uganda. Both are signed under Black Market Records which has helped them gain new fans from both Kenya and Uganda.
Hopefully, Covid-19 will end soon and life will get back to normal.
