KPLC announces power outage |
Kenya’s electricity distribution company (KPLC) has issued a warning about power outages in several areas of the country on Monday, July 8.
In a statement released on Sunday evening, the company said the outages will be due to maintenance work being carried out on the equipment.
They mentioned that some areas in four counties in Kenya will be without power between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. The affected counties include Nairobi, Narok, Tharaka Nithi, and Embu.
In Nairobi County, parts of the Kitsuru neighborhood will experience power outages between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
In Narok County, several areas in Oldonyorok will be without power between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Some areas in Gituaka, Tharaka Nithi County, will be affected by power outages between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
In Embu County, parts of the Kathangari area will also be without power between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.
