Khalif Kairo Speaks After Arrest, Reassures Fans: “Imara Kama Simba”

Car dealer and social media influencer Khalif Kairo, alias Joseph Kairo Wambui, has responded to recent reports about his arrest. Khalif Kairo responds to arrest claims.  Was Khalif Kairo arrested? On Tuesday, December 3, NTV reported that Kairo was arrested and detained at Kasarani Police Station after allegedly deceiving a client in a luxury car deal. 

According to the report, the Kasarani Sub-County criminal investigations officer Justus Ombati confirmed that Kairo had been apprehended by police.  

It was reported that Kairo allegedly took a significant sum of money from a buyer, but failed to deliver the cars or provide a refund. Additionally, it was reported that Kairo was apprehended at one of his car yards and was being held with three of his employees. Kairo is also accused of allegedly defrauding the client of KSh 26 million. 

How did Khalif Kairo respond? However, Kairo took to X to reassure his followers, stating: “Hizi challenges mnaona nikipitia are very normal in business especially when a company is growing. 

Every big entrepreneur at one point must face litigation or money problems especially when God is taking you to higher levels. To the ones reaching out, I am 100% okay and I will overcome. Imara kama simba, kama chuma cha reli ama mfupa wa pua.” 

Kairo did not directly address the arrest claims but his statement emphasised that he is doing well. The investigation into the matter continues, and further updates are expected as more details emerge. See Kairo’s response below.
