A Nakuru man has been charged with robbery after stealing a mobile phone and cash at Muslim area, Kaptembwa, Nakuru West Sub-County.
Appearing before the Principal Magistrate, Kipkurui Kibellion, Fred Wanyama Kamau denied the charges.
Wanyama was accused with others who were not before the court of carrying out the attack using knives.Wanyama is accused of violently robbing Ndayishimiye Sofoni of Ksh. 1,500 and a mobile phone valued at Ksh. 3,000.
Principal Magistrate Kipkurui Kibellion, ordered the accused be released upon depositing bail of Ksh. 100,000 and a surety of a similar amount.
The case proceeds for pre-trial directions on December 16, 2024.
