Jubilee Christian Church’s overseer, Lady Bishop Kathy Kiuna’s daughter Stephanie, has opened up about missing her late father’s burial. Kathy Kiuna’s daughter explained the reasons she missed her father’s funeral.  Stephanie’s dad, Bishop Allan Kiuna, succumbed to cancer in July while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital. His death left many in his church and Kenyans, in general, shocked as they sent their condolences to his family and congregants.

Why Stephanie Kiuna missed dad’s burial In her YouTube channel, Stephanie was in tears, narrating how her efforts to try to make it to her dad’s funeral flopped. “There is nowhere on God’s green earth I would have rather been than at my dad’s funeral. Like nowhere on earth. So to the question of did we have beef? Absolutely not.

Not ever have I had beef with dad ever. I couldn’t make it. Number one, he completely understood, which is all that really matters, and it was completely out of my control. It was things to do with my Australian visa that made it impossible for me to be there,” she said. Stephanie added that they tried talking to everyone who could help, but nothing worked, forcing her to remain in Australia.

“It was hard; it is still hard even talking about it. I mean, we were also close, and no one wants to miss that. It was completely out of my control. We did everything we could; there was no one we did not talk to, and there was no one we did not try to convince that we should. There is nothing we didn’t do.

Although I wanted to be there.  How life has changed for her Stephanie also noted that she misses her dad and how life has changed for her since her father died. “Life is very different without him. It is like those moments you wanna talk to him, but he’s not there. And you want advice and he’s not there.

So those moments are hard. The last time I saw him was Christmas time, and now it’s coming, and I am already like, how am I going to set up my Christmas tree? The last time he was here, and we were setting it up together. The holiday is going to be heavier because those were the last moments with him,” she added.
