South Africa-based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and her husband Shakib have been washing their dirty linen in public. Shakib denied that his wife, Zari Hassan, was financially taking care of him. It all started when Zari took to social media to blast her husband for being jealous when her baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz, showed up for their daughter’s birthday party. The mother of five accused Shakib of ranting yet she did not know Diamond would travel to South Africa despite him sending money for their girl’s party. How much Zari Hassan gave Shakib However, in the same video, Zari claimed Shakib brings nothing to the table as she pays all the bills.She even told women interested in him to have him as long as they knew that all the bills would be on them. But Shakib is not taking it lightly. In a phone interview, Shakib denied Zari taking care of him and even called her a miser at some point. He said: “There are two things on which marriage revolves, communication and respect. There is no marriage that survives time without respect. I would have persevered through this disrespect if she was the one taking care of me, but I take care of myself; I work and hustle like a man. The most I have ever received from Zari, as you all know, she is a miser. I am not lying against her because this can be backed up by her friends, family and in-laws. The biggest amount I have ever received from her was when we went to Tanzania on her business trip.” Will Shakib have child with Zari According to Shakib, Zari was paid KSh 5.2 million, but she gave him KSh 260,000 as he called her out for disrespecting him. “You can’t disrespect me just because you gave me money that I spend in just two days. So you’ll not just come here to disrespect me and expect me to keep quiet because you do not look after me. So whatever comes, I am here and ready for it. There’s nothing much I am expecting from Zari, say, like kids, because she is a very old lady who crossed the age of having them,” he further said.
