First Daughter Charlene Ruto joins Mombasa locals for football viewing. During her stay, Charlene made a point to interact freely with locals, demonstrating her down-to-earth nature. What did Charlene Ruto do in Mombasa? One of the highlights of her trip was watching the Community Shield match between Manchester United and Manchester City, alongside locals. In videos shared on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, August 10, Charlene could be seen sitting next to residents, enjoying the game on a giant screen mounted on a wall facing a park. Charlene praised a local businessman for his initiative in airing the matches for everyone to watch, describing it as a wonderful way to support the community. “A Mombasa businessman airs matches for everyone to watch on the screen above his building. What a way to support your community,” Charlene wrote. In another post, she wrote: “Ah! It was a fulfilling Saturday that one. Tembea mengi uone mengi na usaidie wengi. My team has so many young men na walikua wanalia machozi. Score imefika wapi. So mentor 001 introduced us to something probably only happening in Mombasa.” Charlene Ruto claims she’s Godsent to Kenyan youths A few weeks ago, Charlene stirred a discussion among netizens after she claimed that God called her to serve young people. Charlene, who has experienced both love and hate in equal measure since her father, President William Ruto, assumed office, took to her Instagram Stories to speak to people who insult her for her service to the people.  The president’s daughter started her post by responding to people who asked how she manages to keep her head high despite the massive hate she receives online. Charlene further explained that God had called her to serve the people and thus always guides her to live her purpose. About her dress code, Charlene maintained that her purpose is clear and not about her looks.
