Nana Owiti was left emotional as she announced the end of the show ‘Chat Spot’ which she has been co-hosting alongside Joyce Maina and Kush Tracey.
This is after Switch TV went digital. According to Nana, hosting the show has made her famous and enlarged her brand which was not as famous as it is now.
“It’s been like a family for me. I came here and Switch TV took me in and taught me the ropes. We live like family and we have supported each other.
I came here very green. I got my exposure here, I have really grown.
Thanks for the overwhelming support in the last three years.”
According to the director of Chat Spot, Ali Zaitun, the entire Switch TV management is shifting,
“As the producer and the stand-in host of the show, Switch TV has been a good journey ever since we started. We are moving to digital and we are going to try audiovisual.
I hope you give us the support you have been giving us. 31st was our last day on air.” BY MPASHO NEWS
