In a past interview, Caster told Sports Illustrated, “What makes me happy is to have my family around me, Nothing else. Without my family, I cannot live.”

Caster’s relationship with her wife Rose started when she spotted her in the women’s changing room.

“We met in a restroom in 2007. She was a runner and was being escorted by doping officials. She thought I was a boy and said ‘What is a boy doing in here?’,” Caster said in a BET International interview.

“I’m not a boy. You think I’m lost? You think I can just walk in here?” Caster replied.

They got married in 2017. Check out some of the cute family moments that Caster shared on social media for her fans to see.

Caster has always had to prove to everyone who she really is.

In an with HBO Real Sports, the double Olympic champion also accused the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF)  track and field’s world governing body of making her take medication if she wanted to continue to compete.

“I told them, ‘It’s fine. I’m a female. I don’t care. If you want to see I’m a woman, I will show you my vagina. Alright?’” Semenya said of track officials from the governing body.

Speaking about her experience taking the medication, Caster in a statement said, “It made me sick, made me gain weight, panic attacks. I didn’t know if I was ever going to have a heart attack.”

Adding, “It’s like stabbing yourself with a knife every day. But I had no choice. I’m 18, I want to run. I want to make it to (the) Olympics, that’s the only option for me. But I had to make it work.”    BY MPASHO NEWS
