Mombasa residents have been rocked by the mysterious death of 75-year-old John Middleton. Kisauni Deputy County Commissioner Jamleck Mbuba said the suspects might have scaled his perimeter wall. According to the DCC, police officers who arrived at the scene found a machete near the deceased’s body, which they believe was used in the gruesome murder. He added that Middleton, who was living alone at the time, had deep cuts on his hands, and while there were minimal signs of struggle. “The body had serious cut wounds on the hands. There were little signs of struggle at the murder scene,” Mbuba added.
