n an interview with Mungai Eve, the mother of two shared;
“Do you know why mothers cry on the wedding day? It’s because they know what you are getting into but they cannot tell you. It is like a taboo telling you things against marriage. Gen Z’s are not like us, we were trained to persevere.”
She added;
‘ I am living my life. Most people live fake lives in their 20’s. I am proud of the phase I am in my life.”
“I do not want to be anyone’s role model. That job is hard and I do not want it. Let your parents be your role model. It is a lot of work to be a role model because you have to force yourself into a certain lifestyle. Do not push people to be what you want them to be so that they become your role models. Let people be.”
Sarah responded that what matters is what the company has been able to achieve.
She went on to add;
“In 2007, we held our first event, That is also when we met. We built it together and made it successful. We should not focus most on who founded it. It has taken us sweat, tears, and a lot of sacrifices.”
Sarah went on to state that she is not sure about dating anytime soon given her alleged divorce is not complete.
‘Now that I am single I want to travel with my clients more. What would we eat if we closed the company?
I want to go to Ibiza and to Miami. I haven’t thought of meeting someone. I need to heal.
I am not sure if I want to date again but I want to be married again.
I was raised to be a wife, I do not know how to survive in the streets. Right now am healing, please share the ideas.
This is when reality hit, I thought this would stay private until I had received my divorce certificate.
