British heavyweight boxer Joe Joyce will give everything in a bid to reclaim his WBO title when he takes head-on China’s Zhilei Zhang at Wembley ‘s OVO Arena on September 23.

The 37-year old shockingly lost his unbeaten record to underdog Zhang in April and is seeking redemption.

“I’m coming back to take back what’s mine. No compromises. No under-estimating my opponent. Nothing, but a win. Last time out I lost my undefeated professional record,” Joyce said.

The April bout was stopped in the sixth round following Joyce’s swollen eye inspection by the ringside doctor. The Londoner was staggered several times by the 40-year-old southpaw before the fight was halted.

“It was hard to take. But after the dust settled, all that will do is make me better. I’ve learned lessons. I’m ready. And I am coming for everything,” he added.

Joyce activated the rematch clause in May. He was undefeated in 15 fights and 14 knockouts  before the loss to Zhang at the Copper Box Arena in London.   BY  THE STAR
