Migori: 2024 KCSE Candidate Allegedly Stabbed by Boyfriend after Threatening to Dump Him

Police in Migori county have launched a manhunt for a suspect who stabbed a female student who sat for the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams. For illustration, the victim is admitted to Migori Level Four Hospital. 

Who stabbed KCSE candidate in Migori? Citizen Digital reported that the 18-year-old candidate, identified as Whitney, was attacked by David Odhiambo, a boda boda rider. . Ngege sub-location assistant chief Celine Anyango said the victim is currently receiving treatment at Migori Level Four Hospital, while the suspect is at large.  

Anyango stated that police have launched a manhunt for the suspect and are confident he will be apprehended soon. Even though the assistant chief said the circumstances leading to the attack were still unclear, some members of the public suggested that the girl may have attempted to end her relationship with the suspect. 

Police are waiting for the victim to get better before she can share more details on the exact motive behind the attack.
