TSC announces system disruption on its online services platform

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has alerted Kenyans of disruptions in its online services system.

In a statement shared via its official X account, the commission attributed the disruptions to power instability and urged users accessing the TSC platform to be patient as they restore normalcy.

“TSC is currently experiencing intermittent online services disruption due to power instability. Please bear with us as the technical team works to restore the online services. We regret any inconveniences caused,” the commission stated.

The changes are likely to affect services offered by the commission such as job applications, processing of payslips, and work promotions.

The recent disruption is one out of the many that were witnessed from Friday night after a nationwide power outage across different parts of the country.

Kenya Power issued a statement apologising to Kenyans for the inconvenience caused. The utility company also mentioned that the outage was due to a technical hitch on its major lines which led to a system disturbance.

So far, the utility company has restored power supply in different affected areas in the country.

“Initial reports indicate that the power outage was caused by a fault in one of the generation plants. We thank our customers for their patience as we continue with the restoration exercise,” the statement added.   BY K24 NEWS
