Kenyan singer and entrepreneur Esther Akoth aka Akothee on Saturday emotionally remembered the unborn child she had miscarried last year.
On her Instagram page, the 43-year-old musician, who is currently in Europe, published an emotional video that showed her holding a baby and trying to calm them while having a conversation with the baby’s mother.
In her statement, she said the little child reminded her of the unborn baby that she and her husband Denis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer, expected to get in July this year.
“This one has reminded me and just reminded my hubby our baby would have been 1 month one week today, July. 22nd was our D day ,” the mom of 5 wrote.
In the video that she posted, the entrepreneur looked happy and emotional as she carefully held the child in her arms. “💃💃💃💃💃💃Congratulations to all mummies 💋💋💋,” she said.
The ‘Give it to me’ singer announced the miscarriage of what would have been her sixth child last December and said that the situation was brought on by pregnancy complications.
At the end of May this year while celebrating her husband’s birthday, Akothee assured her Swiss hubby that they will have a child together soon.
“I am very happy to start a new journey. Mister Omosh you could have become a father on 22 July 2023 but things happen and we will be parents again soon my love.
Allow me to wish you the best. Happy birthday my queen king. Happy birthday,” she wrote.
Earlier that month, the 43-year-old artist had hinted that she had started preparing for her pregnancy journey.
The mother of five through her Instagram page showed a packet of Pregnacare Plus Omega-3 medicine that is usually used by women during pregnancy.
“Yoooo the journey begins now NDILAS,” Akothee said under a short video of the drugs that he posted. BY MPASHO NEWS
