Kisii Girl Who Scored B- in KCSE Resorts to Farming after Missing Out on University Placement

Bonareri’s goal was to sit for KCSE In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, philanthropic cop Sammy Ngare revealed that Bonareri would only learn about her exemplary B- score from a neighbour; she never returned to her school to know if anything was expected of her. “She struggled through high school and given her family background, her only goal was to sit her for her KCSE and just stay at home; they just didn’t have the money to continue. Her teachers supported her and some paid for her education ,” he said. “Poverty is really bad. I need advice for this woman because I don’t know how to help her. She didn’t apply for any course she is just confined at home,” he added. Ngare worries about her stay in the village Ngare is a worried man and insists things may worsen for the girl if she continues staying at home as there are many distractions in the village. “Her passion is education or nursing but sadly, her grades in Maths will not allow her to study any of those two courses. I need advice on how to proceed from this point,” said Ngare. “I am appealing for help…she can still be helped. The family is in a really bad place, and even getting a meal is a problem,” he continued.  BY TUKO NEWS
