During the morning conversation on Classic 105, Mike Mondo and Mwalimu King’ang’i had an interesting conversation about people who don’t let go.

The question of the day was: Do you have or are you a person who can’t let go of relationships?

The morning conversation was inspired by King Charles III’s apology for colonizing and the brutality that was inflicted on Kenya since some citizens still held grudges and didn’t want to move on.

Mwalimu King’ang’i got a chance to share his experience with a lady who had turned him down cause he didn’t fit her qualifications for a man.

“I was in love with a girl called Eunice alikuwa mzungu nilimfungulia roho aliniambia vitu tatu tu moja your colour is a no, two can you afford me na ya tatu ni ninjifunze kizungu iliniuma it took me some time to heal but I healed and became a better person.”

He further told their listeners that they couldn’t force someone to either love or marry them.

“Men, you can’t force a woman to love you and ladies, you can’t force a man to marry you!'”

Mike didn’t want to feel left out and also shared his story. He said; Nishaikataliwa it took me time but niliheal na nikamove on.

The first caller said;

“I am a victim he can’t let go tunakosa tunarudiana he doesn’t want to let go he is just there no matter how much I try and push him away he remains, he is already married but I can’t let him go and he can’t let me go, no matter what we are always together.”

Another caller added;

“I was married for 17 years and we had three children bjut she left. Alienda lakini I still miss her alitoka kwa nyumba akasema ametoka nilimpigia nikamuulize mbona ameenda aliniambia nikae kwa nyumba nifikirie lakini sai akinipigia nitarudi haraka sana kumove on nimejaribu lakini nimeshindwa. Nimekuwa separated na yeye for 3 years lakini akipiga tu nitarudi nilimpenda sana. Sai akona my bestfriend lakini bado nampenda.”

The last caller said;

I refuse to let go I have a guy we break up then after a few months we are back together, It has been five years we are on and off he has a kid and I’m seeing someone and have a kid with someone else but every time we see each other I’m like weuuh and we are back together.

The duo finished their morning conversation by urging their listeners to be careful of the people they call friends.
