Kakamega: Grief as Grade 5 Pupil Is Found Dead in Her Room

A family in Kakamega county is still reeling in shock following the demise of their 11-year-old daughter. The family of the young girl is still grieving after finding her lifeless body in her room . How did the Kakamega girl die? Her grandmother said the fifth-grader appeared fine when she left her home with the rest of the family members.She told Citizen Digital that she was informed the deceased had lunch with the family before going to her room, where she was later found dead. 


She mentioned receiving a distress call about her granddaughter’s sudden death, prompting her to call her husband for more details. “At first, I thought it was one of those cons calling me. When I called the girl’s grandfather, I couldn’t locate him,” the grandmother painfully recounted. She hurried back home in panic, hoping the distress call was a lie, only to confirm that her worst fear was true. ” We need investigations to be done because to lose the girl under such circumstances is heartbreaking,” she further stated. 

Nyumba Kumi officer Rueben Otiende confirmed the incident and urged police to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deceased’s death thoroughly. Nakuru grade 1 pupil found dead after going missing In a separate incident, a family in Kazamoyo village in Kuresoi North, Nakuru county, wants justice to be served after the body of their missing son was allegedly found inside an abandoned pit latrine.

 Eight-year-old Samwel Mwangi went missing on October 13 after attending a Sunday service at St Paul’s Mau Summit Catholic church. Margaret Mbaire, the Grade One pupil’s mother, searched for her son everywhere on Monday, October 14, without success, only to hear of his demise.
