A traffic snarl up was reported at the Likoni crossing channel in Mombasa following vessel breakdowns.
On Thursday morning, only two ferries, MV Kwale and Harambee, were in operation, causing delays on both sides of the channel.
Kenya Ferry Services assured customers that their staff is effectively managing the situation. “We appreciate your patience,” the company stated.
In a subsequent update, Kenya Ferry informed the public that a third ferry is now operational, expressing gratitude for the cooperation received throughout the morning.
“Looking forward to smooth services for the rest of the day,” Kenya Ferry Services added.
