The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has automated the process for filling and submitting the Self-Declaration Form.
In a public notice, EACC Chief Executive Abdi Mohamud advised all individuals required to submit a Self-Declaration to access and complete the form online.
Mohamud said the online system will allow users to fill and submit their self-declaration forms digitally, making the process easier for individuals seeking state or public office to comply with integrity requirements.
The forms for the process were previously filled out manually. They are now accessible through the EACC website.
EACC has urged the public to take advantage of the digital process to streamline compliance.
Self-declaration requirement for public office holders is provided for under the Leadership and Integrity Act.
It applies to individuals seeking election or appointment to state or public offices.
