Renowned American actor Omari Hardwick, best known for his iconic role as James “Ghost” St. Patrick in the hit TV series ‘Power’, will engage in an exclusive chat with media representatives and members of the ‘Chocolate Empire’ cast at Tatu City on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
Hardwick, who arrived in Kenya on Friday, has been actively participating in a myriad of cultural and entertainment events since his arrival.
Over the weekend the actor hosted the launch of HQ House Kenya – the second outlet in the world for the US-based HQ House brand.
The club, managed by the Burns Brothers, celebrated its grand opening event, “The Premiere,” featuring the renowned actor.
This exclusive event brought together a distinguished group of entrepreneurs, celebrities, and business leaders.
His visit has captivated the local scene, and Tuesday’s event marks another high-profile engagement during his stay.
Hosted by Multichoice, the event will feature insightful discussions and a behind-the-scenes look at the highly anticipated new Showmax series, ‘Chocolate Empire’.
The series, set to premiere on Showmax on March 20, 2025, is a gripping crime drama.
It follows character JB Mauzo, played by Jimmi Gathu, a once-powerful businessman who, after being released from prison, strives to rebuild his life while covertly managing a high-end escort service from his exclusive cigar club.
The plot thickens when JB’s world collides with that of Lily—portrayed by Ann Muli—a young woman from a modest background who becomes entwined in his clandestine operations.
Joining Hardwick on stage will be Multichoice Kenya Managing Director Nzola Miranda, along with ‘Chocolate Empire’ cast members Sanaipei Tande and Jimmi Gathu.
The session is designed to offer exclusive insights into both Hardwick’s illustrious career in Hollywood and the creative vision behind ‘Chocolate Empire’.
