Socialite Amber Rose made an appearance on a recent episode of Club Shay Shay, a podcast hosted by Shannon Sharpe, a three-time Super Bowl champion.
Amber, known for her TV personality and past relationship with Kanye West, was asked about her ex, given his frequent appearances in the headlines. Despite their breakup in 2010, Shannon couldn’t resist bringing up the rapper.
“You see Kanye and his wife together—how she dresses, is that her choice, or is it Kanye dressing her?” Shannon asked.
Kanye has been in the spotlight for his wife’s hyper-sexualized outfits, which many find controversial. Amber wasted no time in responding.
“Of course, Kanye dresses her like that. He did the same thing to me and Kim Kardashian. That’s just Kanye,” she said.
Curious about Kanye’s motives, Shannon pressed further. Amber explained:
“He wants other men to desire his woman. It makes him happy to see men drooling over her.”
She claimed Kanye always wanted his partners to be the most desirable women in the room, ensuring everyone knew he had the “hottest” woman by his side.
Amber also revealed that she was uncomfortable with his styling choices and would secretly take Kanye’s oversized clothes from his closet to wear instead.
The two met when Kanye flew her to his home under the pretense of featuring her in a music video. However, instead of filming, he took her on romantic dinners and convinced her to stay with him.
“He told me not to worry about clothes or anything. He bought me everything I needed brand new, so I left everything back at home just to be with him,” she said.
After dating for two years, they broke up, with Kanye reportedly shifting focus to his music. However, Amber has previously spoken about the alleged bullying she endured from him post-breakup.
More recently, she commented that Kanye needs a strong maternal figure—someone who truly loves him—to help him navigate his issues.
