He recalled how they met, two years ago when they decided to walk the journey of love and do life together. “It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved wife Ngem Cla who went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2025. We met on February 14, 2023, and from that moment, I knew she was a woman of immense value and determination. We got married on November 18, 2023, and our journey together was filled with love, laughter, and adventure,” he wrote. Buo noted his late wife had Ngem an underlying medical condition they tried to sort out as a couple.
What was Buo’s wife’s medical condition? She was suffering from fibroids and the two were seeking treatment for the issue when Ngem passed away. “Tragically, her life was cut short during a surgical procedure to treat fibroids. Despite a successful initial surgery at Upstation Bamenda, complications arose, and she underwent a second emergency surgery at the Regional Hospital. Unfortunately, she did not survive,” Buo wrote. He painfully recounted his wife’s last words, which were, “Sweetie I am leaving” which left Buo hurt.
