Former actor Ian Nene, famously known as Almasi from the TV show Machachari, has ressurfaced back online after a social media hiatus.
Nene made his debut on TikTok where he went on his first ever live session on the app engaging with his fans and other netizens who tuned into his live feed.
The 25–year-old creative has spent the last 3 years in a Hindu temple which he notes has taught him so much about life that he is willing to share with those who are interested in learning without judgement.
In the live feed, Ian also sadly revealed that he was battling a health crisis as he reminisced over his old days as a child actor alongside his Machachari cast members.

“Me and my bros, Malik and family we were 12 years old the other day. Very fast we will be 40 and 50. I do not want to die thinking about haters. I will die thinking about the things that are important to me.
Do not hate people just because they are doing stuff you cannot do. I am going through health issues so I must do something so that I am not just lying around in the house and doing nothing. Do something, take a step, learn a course.” the former actor shared. Adding he would give more in-depth update about his health issues at a later time.

“No one has authority over who is happy and who is not,
Wrapping up he added, “I would say the person who isn’t happy is the person who has time to tell people if whether they are happy or not on their pages. Maybe… just maybe that says a lot about you than it says about me.
But, grow.. learn something. I do want to share about my experience in the temple, it taught me a lot to deal with this… something that a lot of you can’t deal with to be honest. You have to learn that your opinion doesn’t need to be heard everywhere, all the time. You just have too much going on. Because frankly for instance if I was to die today, would you come and take me home? Would you even be present?
If you die, will I know? No. Hence, those who will know about me when I die are the only ones I should listen to and vice versa.”
