The 2024-2025 Mr. World Kenya, Teddy Rossiter, has announced his resignation from the title. On Friday, January 24, Teddy shared the news via his social media, explaining that his decision was made after deep reflection and a desire to focus on personal growth and career goals.
He wrote:
“Today, I officially announce the amicable conclusion of my tenure as Mr. World Kenya 2024, a decision I have made after deep reflection and with a desire to focus on my personal development and career advancement goals.
He said that serving as Mr. World Kenya 2024 had been one of the most transformative and fulfilling experiences of his life.
He added that the role allowed him to represent the beautiful country, advocate for causes he deeply cared about, and connect with communities that had inspired him beyond measure.

In his resignation letter, Teddy expressed his gratitude toward the Miss World Kenya Organization for its unwavering support during his time as a public figure.
“I am incredibly grateful to the Miss World Kenya Organization, my mentors, and everyone who supported me during this journey. Your unwavering encouragement has been a cornerstone of my success, and I do not take it for granted. As I step into this next chapter, my commitment to making a positive impact remains steadfast. I look forward to exploring new avenues where I can continue to inspire and serve. Thank you to everyone who has walked this journey with me. Your belief in my vision and efforts has been a source of strength, and I carry that with me as I move forward.”
Teddy’s departure follows a similar decision by Miss Universe Kenya, Irene Mukii, who relinquished her title in December 2024.

Irene cited her commitment to community service and leadership through her Inspireine Revolution platform, focusing on serving marginalized communities and aligning with environments that reflect her values.
Teddy admitted that stepping down was a difficult decision, despite the early departure.
“Stepping into a new chapter with gratitude and purpose. 🌟 Serving as Mr. World Kenya 2024 has been a transformative journey, filled with pride, service, and inspiration. I’m honored to have represented Kenya and achieved the milestone of 1st Runner-Up Mr. World Global 2024, a proud moment for our nation. This is not an end but a new beginning. Thank you to everyone who supported me; you have been my strength. Here’s to new horizons and continued impact. Onwards and upwards! 💫”
