Digital content creator and comedienne Celestine Ndinda Kimani is over the moon following her latest YouTube achievement.The mother of 2 is the newest silver creator button award owner in the industry after attaining over 100k subscribers on her channel. The channel centers around lifestyle, the art of storytelling in a podcast that she co-hosts with her husband, veteran actor, author and fellow comedian Timothy Kimani famously known as Njugush.Celebrating the milestone, the social media influencer shared an unboxing video on her Instagram page, following that up with her message of gratitude to all those who engage with her content and have continuously supported her since day one. Back in December…” Ndinda excitedly shared, accompanied by an up-beat self-imposed soundtrack as she showed off a black square box with the words ‘YouTube’ plastered on it in white.She went on to add, “Thank you, thank you, to all those who have subscribed to my YouTube channel. I want to thank you all. Wow,” as she finally managed to get the box open to view the contents inside.At the top was a letter from YouTube commending her good work, content and growth. She got emotional adding more messages of heartfelt gratitude.“Yaay, not forgetting an expert who is Kimani… Timothy Kimani, thank you. And thank you to everyone, all the camera people, videographers who have done any content on my YouTube,” Ndinda says unable to contain her childlike excitement.The mother of 2 proceeded to read parts of the letter from YouTube turning it into some sort of QnA session.From YouTube, “Do you remember your first subscriber?” Ndinda, “No,”YouTube: “Do you remember your 100th subscriber?”Ndinda: “No, but I am so happy! I am super, super and I mean super happy! “Kanakaa vizuri sana (it looks so good)” she said giddy with excitement as she read the tag on the plaque which congratulated her for passing the 100,000 subscribers’ mark on the video sharing app.
Finishing up, she promised her fans more engaging content and story times on her channel voicing, “Back to season two! Back for more Cele’s Reflection, back like we never left! It is 2025 guys! So, let’s do this! Mungu Mbele,”

The Silver Creator Award was officially introduced at VidCon in 2013, a popular online video creator conference.
YouTube continued to expand its award program to acknowledge even greater milestones:
Diamond Creator Award (10,000,000 subscribers): Launched at VidCon 2015, featuring a sparkling diamond Play Button.
Custom Creator Award (50,000,000 subscribers): Introduced in 2017, with each recipient receiving a uniquely designed Play Button. However, YouTube discontinued this tier in March 2021.
Red Diamond Creator Award (100,000,000 subscribers): This prestigious award, unveiled in 2018, features a red diamond Play Button, symbolizing the pinnacle of achievement on YouTube.
