On December 22, 2024, the Blankets and Wine Festival unfolded in grand style at Laureate Gardens, Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.
With a lineup of sensational performances, engaging moments, and an electric atmosphere, the festival brought together over 10,000 music lovers to celebrate music, culture, and connection.
Kicking off the main stage was the soulful singer Njerae, setting a relaxed yet captivating tone for the evening. Her melodic tunes eased the audience into what would be an unforgettable night.
She was followed by Watendawili, whose dynamic performance uplifted the crowd and set the perfect stage for the rest of the acts.


The energy ramped up with Xenia Manasseh’s enthralling set, as her smooth vocals and charismatic stage presence drew enthusiastic cheers.
Following her was Coster Ojwang, who brought an innovative twist to his performance by inviting the Kodong Klan to join him on stage.
Their rendition of their latest track, “Disko,” was met with resounding excitement, marking one of the festival’s most memorable moments.
As the night progressed, the headliners took the stage, igniting a frenzy among the crowd.\

Necessary Noize, icons of Kenyan music, followed with a nostalgic yet fresh set, captivating fans of all ages.
Wakadinali, famed for their hard-hitting lyrics and unfiltered energy, delivered a performance that had the audience rapping along word for word.

The night culminated in an electrifying performance by Nyashinski, who pulled out all the stops to close the show in style.
He surprised fans by bringing rapper Naiboi on stage, accompanied by a heartwarming banner on the screens reading “Welcome Home Naiboi.”
The duo’s chemistry and Naiboi’s return to the scene made for a touching and celebratory moment.

Adding to the excitement, Nyashinski engaged his fans on a personal level by sharing cake and drinks with them, a gesture that further highlighted his connection with his audience.
Assisted by his wife, Zia Bett, he created an unforgettable communal experience that left fans feeling appreciated and special.

Meanwhile, the Onja Onja stage offered a different flavor of entertainment. It featured performances by Karuga, Ally Fresh, MGM, DJ IV, DYLAN-S, Vidza, Euggy, and Sir M. The DJs kept the crowd moving with a mix of house music and amapiano, ensuring there was something for everyone at the festival.
