Private detective Jane Mugo is devastated after the passing of her mother, who succumbed to a heart attack following a prolonged battle with asthma and high blood pressure. In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, Mugo shared the emotional details surrounding her mother’s death.
“About four years ago, she was doing well. But suddenly, on Sunday, I was home with her, and we had lunch together. She was in the hospital for less than 24 hours. We had plans together, especially being that my birthday is on December 26. I can’t express what I feel—I have lost my mother. I spoke to her on the phone just hours before her passing, and she seemed fine,” Mugo said through tears.
Mugo also shared a poignant video from the hospital, where she was seen calling out to her mother as she breathed her last. “Mum, why did you leave me? We were together just two days ago. We talked, and you told me everything was fine. Why did you leave me when you knew I love you?”

Rest in peace, Mum. I miss your voice, your smile, your advice, your jokes, and your laughter. You taught me how to serve humanity. I watched you take your last breath.” The body has been moved to Kibugi Funeral Home.
