The untimely death of Melissa Jepchumba, a recent Maasai Mara University graduate, has left her close friends deeply heartbroken. Classmate Painfully Mourns Maasai Mara Graduate who Died 5 Days after Graduation: “My Heart Hurts”  When did Melissa Jepchumba die? Melissa from Mogoget village in Nandi county died in a grisly accident along Narok Highway on Saturday, December 14. 

Melisa died on the spot after a Toyota saloon car collided with an Easy Coach bus in the Tegero area along Narok-Bomet Road.  According to the police report, the driver of the Toyota lost control of the vehicle, veering off its lane and colliding with the bus. How Shirleen Enole Nchole mourned Melissa?

 Talking to TUKO.co.ke, Melissa’s close friend, Shirleen Enole Nchoe, disclosed that the horrible accident came less than a week after her graduation. Melissa graduated with a diploma in social work and community development on Monday, December 9.  Shirleen narrated how she received the news about Melissa’s death with shock. She described Melissa, their class representative, as down-to-earth and will be missed by many of her colleagues.

 In her heartfelt condolence message, Shirleen said Melissa was a beautiful soul who rarely had differences with friends. Shirleen disclosed that the deceased leaves behind a lovely young daughter. “I’m at loss of words, we lost this beautiful soul I’m so lucky to have experienced so many memories with her throughout the years. 

Melissa was the life of the party. Our down to earth class representative. You will be missed by many . My heart goes to the family, parents, siblings and her little princess. And yes my hearts hurts. Dance with angels beautiful girl. Till we meet again. You are loved even in death,” Shirleen said.
