According to the singer, it doesn’t hurt to add or remove something from your body as long as it’s not overdone.
“If you feel comfortable with how you look well and good. But if your tummy makes you uncomfortable go get that lipo.”
Konde Boy as he is famously known further advised;
“Cosmetic surgery is the new wave, I don’t like the fact that some of you guys have been making fun of it. Let people be. Years ago some people would have wanted to be here to change something or add some spice, be grateful.”
He went ahead to give an example of his ex who underwent a cosmetic procedure.
“My ex was so uncomfortable and told me she wanted to undergo surgery. I paid for everything and went with her. We stayed for two weeks just for her to recover and after that she was happy.”
In Kenya, different celebrities have been open about their journeys with cosmetic surgery.
In 2023, businesswoman Phoina Tosha underwent a liposuction procedure. This cost her Sh800K.
In an interview with Mpasho’s Kalondu Musyimi, she shared that she wasn’t happy with her previous shape.
“Weuh mimi niko tuu hivi. Lakini sitageuka. Waist nili reduciwa hapa hivi mnavyoniona. Enyewe nilichongwa. Body by Design did an amazing job. So I’m super proud of that. That was an achievement by the way for me. I did a liposuction. Nilitoa mafuta, ukiwa na pesa unatoa mafuta.”
She added;
“Usikae na mafuta, mafuta unaeka huku ya nini? Its upto you. Si mafuta ni yako? Ukitaka kuitupa pia ni sawa.
Phoina has no immediate plans to make any more cosmetic changes to her body.
She is content and watching to see how it goes.
Risper Faith has also undergone two liposuction procedures in the past.
The mother of one was forced to undergo a second procedure after she got back all the weight lost after the first liposuction.
She admitted that she failed to follow the recommended dietary guidelines and neglected to exercise regularly, which ultimately led to the reversal of the effects of the procedure.
“I had liposuction in 2020, but after that, I was supposed to follow some procedures and avoid some foods. I ate everything and gained more weight. I didn’t follow the instructions and it backfired,” she said.
Other famous female celebs who have also undergone cosmetic procedures are Murugi Munyi, Tanasha Donna, Huddah Monroe and even Vera Sidika.
Vera has undergone different procedures among them a bust implant, BBL. She recently got fillers.
