Galana Oil and Delta Service Stations has officially rebranded to Galana Energies Ltd as it marks its 24th anniversary. Motorists line up at Galana Energies Ltd to receive free fuel top-ups. Why Galana Energies is offering free fuel top-ups To celebrate the milestone, the petroleum firm is offering motorists free fuel top-ups at its petrol stations. 

Car owners purchasing fuel worth KSh 1,500 or more are rewarded with an additional KSh 1,000 worth of free fuel. Similarly, boda boda operators who buy fuel worth KSh 500 or more receive an extra KSh 500 worth of fuel at no cost. 

“This rebrand is more than just a new name; it’s a statement of our dedication to innovation, sustainability, and meeting the evolving needs of our customers. We are committed to growing with our community and making a lasting impact,” Galana Energies CEO Anthony Munyasya said.

 Where and when will motorists get free fuel? The firm, which has a network of over 50 service stations, said the fuel happy hour sessions will run alongside roadshows from December 3 to December 11. The fuel top-ups are at select service stations nationwide. “Don’t miss out,” it urged customers. What is the cost of fuel in Kenya? 

On Thursday, November 14, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced that fuel prices in Kenya for super petrol, diesel, and kerosene will remain unchanged from November 15 to December 14. The current fuel prices are set at KSh 180.66 per litre for super petrol, KSh 168.06 per litre for diesel, and KSh 151.39 per litre for kerosene. 

EPRA maintained the prices despite a drop in murban crude oil prices for October in the international market. Between September and October 2024, the average landed cost of imported super petrol increased slightly by 0.54%, diesel dropped by 4.34%, and kerosene rose by 3.97%.
