Boen Photography, the videographer who filmed Aggrey Mchelule’s lavish wedding, has spoken about his experience working with the renowned lawyer. Judge Aggrey Mchelule married a second after losing his first wife. Who is Mchelule’s wife? The Court of Appeal judge lost his wife, Keziah Habwe, in 2022 and decided to give love another try. Mchelule married his younger partner, Judy Kerich, in a lavish koto (traditional) wedding on Saturday, November 30.

Politicians and dignitaries from the judiciary graced the wedding. The star-studded wedding went viral on social media, especially TikTok, with many marvelling at the decor and setup. TUKO.co.ke contacted wedding videographer Kiprop Boen who captured the lovebirds’ lovely moments and he revealed the wedding was one of a kind.

“The engagement was very different from the ones we have had in terms of high-end decor and the class that it portrayed with choppers dropping and airlifting some VIPSs, something which is not usual,” he said. Musician Bensoul performed at the wedding and asked how much he was paid, Boen said: “I was paid very well.”

Mchelule’s wedding comes weeks after lawyer Ndegwa Njiru and his long-time lover Laureen Ndanu undertook a significant traditional ceremony in their journey of solemnising their union. How much does Boen Photography charge? Recently, the most creative and top videographer revealed to TUKO.co.ke that he charges between KSh 150,000 to KSh 300,000 to shoot a wedding and an extra cost for services such as live streaming.

From the little details to big ones, Boen shows opulence at Kenyan weddings through the lens, and he loves his job. Boen said seeing his videos trend was a fulfilment that he does a great job revealing it helps him get more clients.
