Witnesses Reveal Chilling Details of Mutilated Body Found Dumped at Lang’ata Cemetery

As the country grapples with an increasing number of femicide cases, Nairobi detectives have launched a probe into one other disturbing case of murder. A severely mutilated body was found dumped at Lang’ata Cemetery..  This is after a severely mutilated body was discovered dumped at the Lang’ata Cemetery in Nairobi. The discovery left detectives puzzled about the identity of the deceased and the motive behind the gruesome manner in which the murder was carried out. In a report by Citizen TV, witnesses described the horrific scene, wondering what happened to the body. 

Witnesses give details of Lang’ata Cemetery body Isaac Okungu, a witness, said there was no distinctive feature on the body to identify whether it was a man’s or a woman’s body. “I realised the body belongs to an adult after seeing the skull and the teeth. There was no distinctive feature on the body to help identify whether it was a man’s or a woman’s,” he said. He noted that even the skull had no residue or flesh on it. Also, a Langata Cemetery worker, Joshua David, who witnessed the horrific scene, stated that the body was mutilated and dismembered. 

“All joints and body parts were separated and stuffed in shopping bags before they were dumped here," he said. According to the witnesses, the culprits left behind exhibits, including foodstuffs, at the crime scene. Lang’ata Deputy Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) Ben Baraza said the body had its flesh meticulously removed. “The incident is very unprecedented. We are investigating how and who was involved,” he said. The detectives have called on Kenyans whose loved ones are missing to visit their station for DNA profiling to help find the identity of the body.
