Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate for the United States of America, has won the race to the White House, defeating his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris. Kenyans express mixed reactions as Donald Trump defeats Kamala Harris in White House race. Trump emerged victorious, becoming the 47th president of the US. 

After winning the Pennsylvania state, Trump garnered 266 electoral college votes, a major blow to Harris's dream of becoming the first woman president. With 266 Electoral College votes, the former president only requires four votes from the remaining states to be officially declared president-elect.  Kenyans react to Donald Trump’s victory in US elections Following the clear victory, Kenyans have joined the diaspora political affairs, giving their opinions, with those supporting Kamala expressing disappointment while Trump’s fans express excitement.  Murithi Magiri: “Let us be experts of our own affairs first. Let us build our nation first. Let us also have a US president who seeks not to impose their norms and values on other people. He may not be the best, but Trump is way better than Kamala. It is time for change around the world. It is also time for all nations to bow down and say, "Jesus is the Lord.” Julius Njuguna: “The first assignment should be to recall some of these Ambassadors in African countries.” Stephen Murather:  “My Man! The Donald! I am so happy for him!” 

Gathoni Nderu: “That was obvious, my hearty support was for him, viva Trump.” Peter Mucheke: “I wished Kamala to win, but she lost; this is good news for Kenyan!” Dean Welden: “It was decided months ago. The gracious lady is clueless. I mean you can't run a superpower with laughter.” Geofray Jeff: “The way I support Trump as if I'm an American.” Josephat Syengo: “Getting elected as a woman president in the USA is a hard calling, it so seems.
